Toronto's Original DJ Jiten has been in the music business now for approximately ten years. At the age of 17, he DJ'd his first gig in Toronto, Canada; and at the time Indian music was not played at any Asian events. He introduced live Hindi remixes at that event, and soon after went to record in the studio so people could actually purchase his recordings for themselves. Within a few years every city in North America was asking for his remixes, and he quickly became the most sought after DJ in the USA and Canada.

For the last few years DJ Jiten has been touring extensively throughout every major city in the USA, including New York, LA, Chicago, Houston and Miami. Early in 1999, his travels took him to India to record vocals for his upcoming release using some of the most sought after playback singers around.

The new album, Bad Mad & Wicked 2000 (BMW 2000) is a collection of nine Hindi remixes featuring singers such as Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Babul Supriyo, Chandana Dixit and Mitali Chaudhry. All vocals and Indian instruments were recorded in India with final mixing and production completed back in Toronto, Canada. A music video filmed on 16mm film was also shot for the track 'Pyar Zindagi Hai' and is included in the CD viewable on your personal computer using Quicktime.
